Juniors update!

Hello Irish!

An additional update for you regarding our junior boys.
On tap this weekend is a friendly between our u18 boys and ste anne de bellevue. Game is Sunday, July 23rd at 4pm at ste anne’s field behind ecole st georges. Come out and see these youngsters at work!
This past Sunday we hosted the u16/u18 boys tournament for all of Quebec (over 100 kids!) and the guests in attendance were dazzled with some courageous and expansive rugby. Our young u16 side put up a good fight before going down in the 3rd place final and our u18’s showed a lot of promise in their xv aside game. We were also excited to include a couple of u14 players from the rive sud rugby program who decided to try their luck with the u16’s! Hats off to young Malcolm and the very young Sam Linard, Dave Linard’s boy, who never backed down from any challengers. the future looks bright! Thanks to Kaleb Nimat, Dave Linard, and Vince Crylser for their help coaching as well as our bar man Peter and his girlfriend Josee for their support on the day.
Its also very exciting to see the bridge between the rive sud youth program (u6-u14) and our irish junior program (u16 and u18) developing as it creates the pathway from their first touch of the ball all the way through to senior representation. Stay tuned for further developments as we solidify this partnership in the coming months!
Finally, thanks to the following people for their belief in what we are doing and the donations they sent through this past week. It definitely gives us some resources to work with when equipment and operations costs pop up which they continue to do as we grow! Thanks go to:
