To all club members,
After a number of previous successful MIRFC events – this year a number of the Irish societies have grouped together to arrange a ‘Family Day’ on Sunday 22nd August at St Julie. The main theme of the event is old fashioned sports day – with three legged races, egg and spoon race, wheelbarrow race, etc for kids with prizes and many other fun events like a pie eating contest and a bouncy castle.
The St Patrick Society, United Irish Society, Irish Chamber of Commerce, Montreal Shamrock’s GAA Club and MIRFC will co-host the event and welcome all members, friends and families of the MIRFC club.
The day will also include; some mini rugby, hurling and gaelic football demonstrations, and the MIRFC senior men will be playing two games against Beaconsfield on the same day.
So please mark your diaries and bring your kids out to have a great time at St Julie on Sunday 22nd August 10am – 5pm.
As usual there will be a BBQ and refreshments will be served, but feel free to bring a picnic and come along and enjoy a day out with the kids.
Look forward to seeing you all there!
